Happy Baby Storytime

Happy! That’s the emphasis of this storytime for babies and toddlers with their parents! Children sing along with familiar tunes and act out feelings from A Kiss Means I Love You and Show Me Happy.

(PreK-K)

Happy, Sad, Silly, Mad: Feelings Matter!

With a focus on feelings, this one gets children on their feet while singing and acting out Ms. Allen’s books and poems. This interactive program also offers parents (when present) tips for read-alouds. Perfect for literacy nights and storytimes.

(PreK-K, grades 1-2)

Please & Thank You, Excuse Me, I’m Sorry: Manners Matter!

Table manners. Playground manners. School manners. With songs, chants, and readings of This Little Piggy’s Book of Manners and other books, children actively learn about manners in all kinds of settings.

(Grades 1-6)

What Do Authors Do?

Using references to familiar classics and her own picture books and poetry, Ms. Allen discusses the writing process from idea gathering to publication (and everything like drafting and revising in between)!
